Reminder: Wolf Den Meeting Cancelled July 22, 2010

Just a reminder, the wolf den meeting on Thursday July 22, 2010 is cancelled since it is so close to the holiday weekend.

Wolf Den Meeting: July 15, 2010

This week we worked on Achievement 9. We completed Achievment 9 a and d by talking about responsibiliby (a); and reviewing safety on the roads and on the street. We will complete 9e (bike safety) at the Den Meeting on July 29th when we go on our bike excursion. Please complete 9 b and c with your scout at home.

Pack Meeting: July 8, 2010

Thanks to everyone who came to our Pack Meeting cook out. We had some great burgers prepared by our new Webelos leader, Craig Horrocks and lots of fun. There were lots of awards to be presented at July's Pack Meeting because of Cub Country. If your scout wasn't there, we'll give them the awards at next month's pack meeting. Below are the awards given this month.

BB Gun Belt Loop (Day Camp): Jake Kemp, Tyrell Gwilliam, Adam Hildt, Jaxon Wilde, Luke Morris

Archery Belt Loop (Day Camp): Jake Kemp, Tyrell Gwilliam, Adam Hildt, Jaxon Wilde, Luke Morris

Geography Belt Loop (Day Camp): Jake Kemp, Tyrell Gwilliam, Adam Hildt, Jaxon Wilde, Luke Morris

Geology Belt Loop and pin (Day Camp): Jake Kemp, Tyrell Gwilliam, Adam Hildt, Jaxon Wilde, Luke Morris

Physical Fitness Belt Loop: Tyrell Gwilliam, Luke Morris

Ryan Lake earned the Fitness and Artist activity badges, and the Cycling belt loop.

Adam Hildt has earned his Wolf badge as well as a gold and silver arrow point.

Brinton Gooch was also awarded his Bear badge.

Also, Adam Hildt and Jaxon Wilde will be advancing to the Bear den.

Wow! That was a lot of awards. Congratulations to everyone. What great accomplishments these scouts achieve.

Wolf Den Calendar of Events: July 2010

July 1: No den meeting: 4th of July weekend.

July 8: Pack Meeting – 7:00 p.m. at the church.

July 15: Achievement 9a,d,e. Please do Achievement 9b and c at home.

July 22: No den meeting: 24th of July weekend.

July 29: Achievement 9e. Bike hike outing. Please meet at the Winchester pavilion on the Jordan River Parkway with your bike, helmet and a water bottle you can carry with you on your bike.
